Empowering Owners and Sellers

This project aimed to create a groundbreaking application that bridges the gap between business owners and sellers, providing them with a user-friendly solution that encompasses the functionalities of a complete POS/ERP system. The key focus was to develop an intuitive application that could operate efficiently on low-performance devices.

The problem

Existing ERP and POS solutions in the market often prove challenging for business owners. They are plagued by user-unfriendliness, overwhelming users with excessive options upon initial use. Moreover, these solutions fail to meet the needs of sellers who rely on them to manage front-end operations effectively. Additionally, these solutions tend to perform poorly on low-resource devices, further hampering their usability and efficiency.

Our Challenges

Primary challenge was to develop a single POS/ERP system that caters to both business owners and sellers simultaneously. This required creating a user interface that offers a seamless experience for both parties.

Implementing a robust inventory management system that allows for real-time tracking, stock updates, and efficient order management posed a significant challenge.

Ensuring the POS/ERP application is compatible and optimized for Android and Xiaomi Summi devices presented a technical challenge.

User Personas

Business Owner
This persona represents individuals who own and manage multiple businesses. They require a comprehensive view of their businesses' performance, financials, inventory, and the ability to make informed decisions.

Retail Seller
This persona represents employees or sellers who interact directly with customers. They need a user-friendly interface to generate orders, access product information, and provide a smooth customer experience.

Design Process

The first step involved creating the visual identity for the product. After careful consideration, we opted for a minimalist style that would resonate with users. The key visual element we chose was a semi-circle, which embodies simplicity and elegance. To further enhance the brand, we selected blue as our primary color, representing trust, reliability, and professionalism. This visual identity sets the foundation for a cohesive and visually appealing user experience throughout Posmit application.

Business Status - The application provides an overview of each business's performance, including sales, revenue, and key metrics, allowing owners to monitor their businesses' health. Also the freedom to change to other company in a multi company structure.

Inventory Management - A robust inventory management system enables real-time tracking, stock level notifications, automated reordering, and seamless order fulfillment.

Order Generation - The system streamlines order creation, ensuring efficient order processing, accurate pricing, and smooth transactions for sellers.
